Also, we are rejoicing this morning, in God’s mercy, as we had a close call last night with a tornado. (Newer readers may not know we suffered complete devastation from a tornado in 2011.) Our meteorologist actually named our community again and said “there is a tornado headed for you” which is not something easy to take when you’ve lived through one (especially for our children). But we are praying for nearby cities (specifically the town where I graduated from college) who received severe damage. My husband is out today helping as he can, and he is deeply affected by the loss. They would covet your prayers.
