Is this not GREAT! I didn’t plan the camera trick, but as I knelt down to snap a picture of two of my favorite things 😉 the angle created a larger than life cake. My friend Kathy sure knows how to get on my good side!
A group of our friends came over to watch Demographic Winter again…we had a great time. It’s one of those films that makes you shout at the end…”OK…let’s go have more babies!” (To which the men shout…”AMEN!” 😉
Seriously, though the film is a bit grim, afterwards we had some great discussion about the opportunities that await believers as the world continues to become more ripe for answers…we have The Answer, don’t we?
I actually haven’t felt quite this hopeful and excited about what the Lord is doing in a long time.
“As arrows in the hands of a might warrior, so are the children of his youth…they will speak with the enemies in the gates.”
By the way, here is the ENTIRE film–Demographic Winter–share it with everyone you know!
If you can’t get the video to play, go to this link…Demographic Winter

Thank you for posting this, Kelly. I have been wanting to see it for months but was unwilling to buy the dvd.
Thank you Kelly for sharing this documentary, it is amazing to see that the economic depression that our world is coming into is because of population decline and decline of the family. It also is encouraging to see that we whom believe in allowing the Lord to control the fruit of our womb can help and that it is possible to have a reformation in our country, Lord willing through reformed Christians having children and raising them in the admonition of the Lord.
Thank you again!!
YAY!!! Thank you for posting the full-length.
Kelly,
I wish I could have been there with y’all.
You should FRAME that picture and hang it in your kitchen!!! So adorable!!!!
I have been dying to see this movie so thank you (and Kathy) for posting the whole thing.
I must get my hubby to sit and watch this together.
Thanks again!
That is so funny…I just finished watching it then clicked on your blog and you are writing about it!
The whole time watching it I kept thinking…this just proves that God’s way is the BEST way!
Oh yes! Thank you so much for the video link, Kelly! This is issue which I am passionate about, and so when I read your posts about this documentary, I really wanted to see it. But – I wanted to be able to watch it first before I paid $40 to have it delivered to me in Aus.!
Btw, the cake photo is hilarious!
My husband and I watched the entire video this morning, and all I can say is “Aaaaaaaaagh!” We are really in trouble.
Back in the ’70’s, we were told that not having children was a noble thing to do, to save the planet, etc.
And, we were taught that in a “Christian” college. I think the professors got a thrill out of scaring us.
We sent our children to a different college than that one.
My father (born in 1915) used to say that everything changed radically after WWII. Women worked in the factories for the war effort, and never went back to the home.
We used to live in Germany in the 70’s, and our German landlady said that Germans now limited their families, or had no children, because their country was always fighting wars, and after WWII, they wanted to make sure that they never had enough men to raise up an army again.
Plus, the incentive of having more material possessions.
Europeans have long been in favor of homosexual marriage and co-habitation, and we are fast following in their footsteps.
A powerful video. Thanks for providing it to us.
A question – at the end of the video, it said that it was end of part 1. Is there a part 2, or a second documentary on this subject in the works?
