Mallie
Mallie started it. I promise this was not a staged picture…Mallie is a kind of “I’ll dress myself, thank you very much” girl. (She got it from her Dad 😉
I love the innocent, unassuming look–don’t you? It’s like, “Fashion? A sensible girl cares only for warmth and comfort. Oh, the shoes were all I could find.”
Avi at least stayed in the pink family. What’s funny is when we’re in a hurry to go somewhere, and they may dart out to the van before I can inspect…(can I get a witness?) And we arrive at our destination and my children have some get up like this.
I just smile sheepishly, shrug my shoulders and admit that having a large family does have its pitfalls.
By the way, they were dressing to go play out in the–brace yourself–60 degree afternoon air. “BRRRR….Mom, can we roast marshmellows?”
(I know, if I hadn’t been there the whole time, I would be certain my babies got swapped with someone else’s at birth.)

I am laughing ….
I only have 3 boys and I am LATE for EVERYTHING. I was wondering how you ever make it anywhere… now I know 😉 So funny!!!!
Just out of curiosity, how in the world do you get to church on time? How early do you have to get up? I’d love for you to humor me and tell me how you do it.
Btw… it took me FOREVER to get used to this collld Indiana weather after living in Alabama all my life! The cold stings sometimes!
They look so stinkin’ cute!!! 🙂 I just LOVE their fashion, I mean, sensibility… lol!
Haha! One of my little sisters is four years old and has a highly individual fashion sense, so I can definitely understand where you’re coming from, lol!
Oh well, I daresay I was just the same when I was four. . .
My 4 year old does the same thing, and comes up with some very interesting hair styles, too! They are so precious, aren’t they?
I have been enjoying your blog for some time now, although haven’t had much time for commenting (I have 9 children of my own that keep me rather busy!), but I wanted to let you know that I have given you an award at my site. Stop by and read all about it!
