God’s Sovereignty…Christians, What Do You Believe?

by Kelly Crawford

Even though the Lord gave me these words over two years ago, they ring so fresh in my ears as He constantly reminds me of His bigness, His power and His love.

May they remind you, too.

Thank you, Kelly.

My own heart is feeling quite heavy tonight and it was so good to be able to feel God holding me while listening to your beautiful song.

I am such a natural worrier and it can be so hard, sometimes to just obey and trust that God has everything under control.

Thank you, Kelly – that was so beautiful. Our God truly is in control and is working out His plan. His call is for us to seek Him first and He handles the rest. May we rest in His strength and trust Him with our lives and our nation.

Blessings,
Nancy

Kelly,

Thank you for sharing this uplifting, edifying message today. Your lovely song helped to remind me that despite what is going on in the world, God is in control and we will find refuge in Him.

Thank You Kelly!! You and your family are beautiful!! And what an awesome example of God showing us a rose among thorns. I woke up this morning to a world that seemed to be filled with thorns, yet your beautiful video reminds me of how many roses are out there, if you just stop and look and remember who put them there.

And it helps to remember God’s Word:

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Romans 8:28

It doesn’t say some things, it says all things and that gives me hope and courage to face any adversities that come my way!! Thank you Lord for you Word and thank you Kelly for your beautiful song and encouragement!!

Isn’t it best that we got Obama anyway?

I’m not sure how to explain this…I’ve have never felt so “washed over” with peace than I do today…

Joy wells up in my heart that is nothing short of miraculous. I’ll be posting more about that…

Your comments bring tears and encouragement to me too! I honestly feel this morning that if I could just reach out and hug each one of you, I would love nothing better.

I know there is fear, and heaviness, and yet I sit here in my living room praying…

“Lord, love them, comfort them, and hold them up”.

“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly, abudantly above all that we ask or think…to Him be glory.”

Vicki,

Thank you! I’d love to do another one–maybe just with songs I’ve written?

If someone could tell me how to record through my keyboard piano into my computer? I recorded this one in a relative’s studio, but it was hard commuting back and forth.

Maybe one day soon!

Well, some days have passed now since the election.

Dearest Kelly, you are the FIRST — and the ONLY — person I have heard express just exactly what I felt on Wednesday:

I’m not sure how to explain this…I’ve have never felt so “washed over” with peace than I do today…

Joy wells up in my heart that is nothing short of miraculous.

When all around me were awash in angst and deep gloom, my soul to its very depths was at rest — not because Obama won (far from it!), but because my God reigns! and will ever reign! and the day is coming when all of creation — including us — will cease from groaning!

Even now the joy rises again as I type the words of that great truth! Thank you for your affirmation.
