A Word From My Heart

by Kelly Crawford

Lord, wash over me Your loving kindness, Your gentle spirit, and whisper love while I wait.

Hold me in your arms just now, and carry me through this dark place.

For I know your love is better than life.

Let me love the valleys more than all else, for they lift me to You.

Let me cherish the empty places, for they fill me with You.

Let my tears cleanse away the clutter like rain that brings fresh life again.

Thank you that You know my heart when it’s impossible for anyone else to

And let me rest in that knowing as my faith look up to Thee.

Oh wow ! I do not know what is the reason for this post. But ss someone whose choices are not yours, who comes from a different culture and has tried hard to understand what is going on around me, if you are feeling alienated, are harshly judged by others who do not know you or your heart, especially christians, when you are trying your best, I can absolutely relate with you.
As you said, only God knows our hearts. Please know that even for someone who is as different from you as me, your website and ministry have helped. That is the only reason I keep coming back. Since I find more things I agree than I disagree with you. Even though our paths on this may be totally different.

God Bless you

Praying for you Kelly, your little one and your whole family. Though I don’t know you in person, you are my sister, and God has given you a special place in my heart. I hurt with you right now, and attribute it to the unity found in Christ Jesus. My tears mingle with yours as the Lord captures them all in a bottle. This is a brave and trusting prayer you pray. Know that you are being held. Sending gentle hugs and a tender heart…. praying.

I am praying for you today Kelly, may God uphold you and bring you through.

This song has helped me. I hope it may help you, I certainly don’t intend for it to add to your burden.

Tree63 \ Blessed Be Your Name

Blessed be your name
In the land that is plentiful
Where the streams of abundance flow
Blessed be your name

Blessed be your name
When I’m found in the desert place
Though I walk through the wilderness
Blessed be your name

Every blessing you pour out,
I turn back to praise
When the darkness closes in, Lord
Still I will say…
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be your name
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be your glorious name

Blessed be your name
When the sun’s shining down on me
When the world’s all as it should be
Blessed be your name

Blessed be your name
On the road marked with suffering
Though there’s pain in the offering
Blessed be your name

Every blessing you pour out,
I turn back to praise
When the darkness closes in, Lord
Still I will say…
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be your name
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be your glorious name

You give and take away
You give and take away
My heart will choose to say
Lord, Blessed be your name

Thank you so much for the ministry of your prayers….I woke with such a renewed sense of God’s grace and strength and the truth that “when we our weak, He is strong”–the result of His goodness and the sweet prayers of my dear sisters.
