Michelle at She Looketh Well is throwing a Titus 2 Blog Party this week! The idea is to introduce ladies to other blogs designed to encourage and strengthen the Titus 2 woman.
Be sure to go over and browse the list of blogs!
She also asked us to write an introduction of our blog for the new ladies coming to visit.
Generation Cedar is my heart’s desire to share what the Lord is teaching me about being a Christian, wife and mother. I ache for the body of Christ because I think so many have bought the world’s idea of fulfillment, throwing away the treasure of God’s gift to women. I believe that the strength of a nation lies largely with its women and their willingness to stand beside their husbands and raise up a godly generation. (The blog’s name comes from Psalm 92:12)
I am a wife and homeschooling mom to seven (eight is on the way!) and I struggle as much as any other woman to fight the flesh that I am and to become a godly woman, pleasing the Lord in my life.
Posts here include anything from serious rants about feminism, politics and abortion to goofy posts about our day. I try to stay tempered but instead sometimes lose my temper. I also try to apologize when that happens 😉
May you find a kindred spirit here.

Nice to meet you. Look forward to exploring your blog a bit more. God bless you and your family as you prepare for your newest member’s arrival.
I love a kindred spirit. 🙂
And that sense and sensibility site for free patterns–is that for sewing?! I’m totally going to check that out!
Ok, after that burst…thank you for what you said about wanting to daily live for the Lord. I look forward to getting to know you better through your blog. 🙂

Hi Kelly,
Thank you for joining in and putting the button on your blog. You blessed me by doing that.
I am so excited for people who don’t know your blog to find it because it is a message we need right now!
I feel like I know you so well, and tears well up when I think of all you have spoken to my heart and how like minded we are. You are way smarter and way more eloquent though 😉 More graceful with some crabby people too!
I loved you post yesterday about the blessing, honor and privilege of being able to bring forth life! With each child it becomes more and more real and special. We could pray for the younger moms to have that revelation very early, though it seems like something that comes with age. I cherish all the more too not knowing when that door will be closed.
Wow, the tears at that thought. I know His grace will be there when it is time to be done, but oh how my heart cherishes the honor!
Thank you friend, I would give you a big hug if I could!
Amazed by His Grace,
Michelle

Your comment made my day! (Although, you give me WAY too much credit.)
I hope your party is hugely successful!!!
Thank you for sharing.
I look forward to getting to know you better as the week long party progresses.
I’m really looking forward to seeing all of your posts on your blog. I too am still on my way and dieing daily to flesh.

Hello Kelly,
Nice to run into you at this blog party :)Even though I have enjoyed your blog for awhile now. But wanted to come over and say “Hi” specifically for the party. Thanks for all your great posts. I also enjoy your scripture memory music CD. I bought several to pass out to my friends. It is a lovely CD.
Blessings!
For His glory…by His grace,

Kelly,
Nice to meet you. Congratulations on blessing number 8!
You are a busy Titus 2 woman!
Yet you have time to encourage others,…that’s great. I will look through your blog later at more length.
If you visit my blog you will find out about me in my profile. I had already posted a poem/writing. I hope it will be an encouragement to those that read it.
Thanks!
Linda
