Yes…He Has Spoken Again

by Kelly Crawford
Mommy! Mommy! Look at me–
I’ve only been here 9 short weeks!
I can move my fingers, and my toes,
You can even see my little nose!

How did I ever get in this place?
And how will I grow in this tiny space?
What? My Heavenly Father spoke
and just like that I began to grow?
Amazing! Thank you for giving God His way,
I know I am fearfully and wonderfully made!

We haven’t known very long that we were expecting…I didn’t even take a pregnancy test (I’ve done this a few times 😉 So after I noticed a significant event had not occurred for awhile ;-), I began to see the signs.

When wild horses can’t stop me from napping after lunch and I simply MUST have that Thick Burger I saw on the Hardees billboard (I am ravenous for fast food)…oh yeah…it’s a baby!

Praise God from Whom all blessings flow!

Congratulations Sweet Kelly! The more I have the more I realize what an honor this calling of “mamahood” is and the more I cherish these littles. May God bless you and keep you, and your precious little one!

Congratulations! I am 12 weeks pregnant. You had your last baby the day before I had mine (Haven). What!? No morning sickness? I have been so sick!

YAY! I'm 4 weeks along with our precious R&R gift (my husband was home on deployment leave last month…) God saw fit to give us a precious light at the end of the deployment tunnel!

Kelly, I looked at your baby icon and it says 199 days and mine on my blog says 198. Are you sure you aren’t further along than 9 weeks? (I am finishing 12 this Sunday). Very coincidental that we had our last babies 1 day apart and are now due 1 day apart! 🙂

Laura,

Hmmmm…I’ve never been any good at these calculations. According to the date I *estimated* for the ticker, I would only be 10 weeks (so I was at least one week off!)

Am I just counting something wrong?

Kelly:

I am SO happy for you Kelly, and I bet you are excited. Your excitement for your expected child has really been a vivid testimony to me about children. Maybe God will one day bless this “hard headed woman” (me) with a child?

This makes me want another one!
That’s just awesome!

Thickburgers? That’s hilarious!!!
I detested the smell of meat during my first trimesters. I craved things like fresh tomatoes and bananas. But with my third child I craved coffee -of all things and the doc said “no” so I drank decaf.

Oh Kelly! Wonderful, wonderful news! May your pregnancy be a blessed time for you all. Rest well! I remember those naps in my first trimester… now, a few weeks before expected due date, you’ll find me late at night scrubbing the kitchen taps or hanging laundry. :o)

Ashley @ Feminine Pursuits writes…

“Congratulation Kelly!!! I’m so happy for you.

I just found out last week that I am pregnant with number five. My oldest just turned 6. My baby is only 8 months old, and so I was very very surprised to be pregnant so soon. I am resting in the fact that God knows exactly what He is doing, and that is so exciting. I can’t wait to meet my new baby. I’m due in August. This will be my second August birth in the Virginia heat and humidity :)”
