It helps to know our history…I learned something I didn’t know in this excerpt from an on-line Encylopedia:
“Sanger also helped organize (1917) the National Birth Control League in the United States; in 1921 it became the American Birth Control League, and in 1942 the Planned Parenthood Federation of America. Meanwhile, in 1918 an American judge ruled that contraceptive devices were legal as instruments for the prevention of disease, and the federal law prohibiting dissemination of contraceptive information through the mails was modified in 1936. Throughout the 1940s and 50s, birth control advocates were engaged in numerous legal suits. In 1965 the U.S. Supreme Court struck down the one remaining state law (in Connecticut) prohibiting the use of contraceptives.”
Of course contraception had been illegal prior to this time, and then, if you noticed, it was only allowed for “the prevention of disease”. As the founder of what became known as Planned Parenthood, Sanger rallied her entire life for the acceptance of birth control. Most say her underlying concern was with achieving a “pure race”, free from “minorities”, including people with any disabilities.
The following is a modern Planned Parenthood commercial.
One can’t help but see diametrically opposing views of this organization to God’s. Just listen closely…does their message coincide with our Father’s? Can it?
By the way, with all the “compassion and care” they claim, they are under several law suits right now for attempting to help minors obtain illegal ab*rtions, and refusing to report a statutory r*ape case.

GIVE ME A BREAK!
They used TONS of catch words. And YES, their message is all about “I”. The Gospel is all about dying to “I” and living for God.
When they said Planned Parenthood helps make ab*rtion rare…BOLOGNA! The are the LEADERS of ab*rtion.
They also commented on Civil Rights?????????????????
Margret Sanger HATED blacks and that is why she targeted them.
Black women are 4.8 times more likely to have abortions than white women. Approximately 35% of our nations abortions are performed on black women, even though they only make up 13% of the population. There are 34 million African Americans living in the US today, and 14 million African American babies have been aborted since abortion was legalized, representing 1/4 of their potential population.
Over 80% of Planned Parenthood clinics are located in or adjacent to low-income neighborhoods with a high concentration of minorities, and most of their advertising is placed to target those same neighborhoods.
Planned Parenthood disgusts me. They’re perpetrating an ethnic cleansing in our country and getting away with it.
Mrs. Sara is right. If you read Sangers writings back in the day you will find out quickly that she was the biggest Communist/Racist there ever was.
Hey, who was that on the planned parenthood clip at 2:42? Anita Hill or Michelle Obama? hehe!
How incredibly misleading. It sounds so good and positive, doesn’t it?
Sarah said, “How incredibly misleading. It sounds so good and positive, doesn’t it?”
Isn’t that what Satan ALWAYS does?
I can’t stand Planned Parenthood. They do NOT stand for anything good. I hate the fact that we have to drive past a Planned Parenthood on the way to church. However, it does always remind me to pray…
I find it interesting that one of their catch phrases is “Family planning makes abortion rare.” If abortion is truly a “good” thing, as they claim it to be, WHY should we make it rare? By claiming we should do what we can to reduce the number of abortions, they’re effectively stating that abortion is NOT a good thing.
It’s the same reason Hillary Clinton made me cringe when I heard her say, “Abortions should be safe, legal, and RARE.”
WHY, HILLARY? If they’re a good thing, then everybody ought to have one! But even liberals will admit that abortion is NOT a good thing, merely saying it’s necessary. *shudder*
It’s a sad state of affairs when a large percentage of our country sees murdering children as a “necessary evil”.
I did my senior thesis in college on Margaret Sanger and the birth control movement. I don’t have the paper in front of me, but I believe the subtitle was something about “race suicide,” a phrase Ms. Sanger loved to use. I was SHOCKED that the early birth control movement was not about birth control at all, but about eugenics, race suicide and the “desirable” populations.
PP would love it if we would forget the origins of their beloved movement.
PlannedParenthood makes it possible for me, a young married college student who has no money for anything but rent, food, and tuition, to get my annual exams and contraception for a lower fee, since I can’t afford health insurance. They may not be perfect, but they do help out many low-income women and students such as myself to get affordable healthcare, since unfortunately we don’t have universal healthcare in this country.
