I wanted to post a special tribute to some very dear friends of ours, who will be leaving Novemeber 13th for Africa to bring home their adopted little boy. He has suffered many heart problems, and his loving parents, knowing that there is no life for him in their deprived part of the country, chose to give him up for adoption. Click HERE to track their journey…
So to my dear friends, may the Lord bless your journey to Africa, keep you safe in His care, bring healing to little Joseph, and bless your family for your selfless love.
This is one of my VERY favorite groups…Selah. Todd Smith and his sister Nicole (the last two that sing), grew up in Africa as the children of missionary parents.

Thank you for sharing Mrs. Kelly. Every time I think of the poverty of Africa on a whole, I get the unshakable feeling of selfishness. I am what, 10 minutes from the E.R.
God speed, White family, we can’t wait to take Joesph into our arms as we already have into our hearts.

What an amazing story. This dear family will definitely be in my thoughts. God bless them!
What a beautiful story. Made me cry. All my children are adopted. What a priviledge it is to be able to adopt! Adoption paints a picture of the gospel, as we are adopted in Christ, what an honor that is. John Piper did a beautiful message on adoption. Probably one of the best I have ever heard. You can hear it or read a consdensed version at DesiringGod.org. It is titled Adoption: The Heart of the Gospel.
