Just thought I’d share a few pictures I’ve taken recently, along with some prayers and musings.
Avi, my princess…I am praying for wisdom to teach you grace…and the humility to see my own need of it through what God shows me in you. “That our daughters be like cornerstones, polished in the likeness of a palace.”
“May I daily seek the keys to the Kingdom…to my husband’s soul, and to my children’s hearts. Let me truly be a Keeper of my home, guardian over the needs of my family, the gate-keeper of this realm I’ve been given.”
“Lord make me stop, and sit, and think, and pray, and listen. And invite someone else to sit beside me.”
“Help me to remember that we are always to be a reflection of you…the Great Light of the world. For we were once in darkness; but now are we light in the Lord…help us to walk as children of light.”
There is so much beauty, so many gifts from your hand. Help my eyes see past the daily duties that encumber my heart; beyond the trivial things that would rob my joy. The children of Israel complained about what they didn’t have, because they didn’t take the time to be thankful for all they were given. Take time, dear heart, to be thankful.”

Great pictures. Avi is so cute!
Regarding what you said about being thankful for all things….
…even for the trials and hardships….??? Yes! That was hard to say …but it reminds me of Corrie Ten Boom. She thanked God even for the fleas she and her fellow prisoners had to endure in German concentration camp during the Holocaust.
She found out later that those fleas are what kept the German soldiers from bothering the Jewish prisoners.
Sometimes our hardships are hidden blessings.
God sees the big picture. I don’t know why but your last quote reminded me of that so I thought I’d share it.
