Frugal Inspiration…Maybe ;-)

by Kelly Crawford

I bought this iron plant hanger at a yard sale for $5.00 (thanks Alison!) and since I’m too impatient (and cheap 😉 to wait until I can buy plants and stuff to go in it, I thought it would be neat to try candles. It hangs just to the left of our front door and makes a nice, welcoming decor. The dried carnations are some I’ve had for years.

I’m not a seamstress…this is a “rag-quilt” diaper bag we made on our craft day Thursday. A great way to use scraps of fabric…quilts, purses, diaper bags–great gifts for pennies!

Hey, I’ve made a rag quilt but I never thought about making it into something. Hmmm…
